Manchester United face an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City as their bid for a treble continues.
United, who beat Arsenal 2-0 in their quarter-final on Saturday, have been drawn against rivals City who beat Reading 1-0 on Sunday. The other semi-final will be between Bolton and Stoke, who beat West Ham 2-1 on Sunday.
United are still battling on three fronts as they sit top of the Barclays Premier League and welcome Marseille to Old Trafford on Tuesday for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
City have not won the FA Cup since 1969 and boss Roberto Mancini is under pressure to deliver silverware, having spent heavily in the pursuit of success.
Bolton's FA Cup drought stretches back even further, to 1958, while Stoke have never reached the final.
Both semi-finals will take place at Wembley on the weekend of April 16-17.
Press Association Sport recalls the previous six FA Cup Manchester Derby encounters:
February 14, 2004 - Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED 4-2 MANCHESTER CITY
The Manchester rivals last met in the fifth round seven years ago when a Ruud van Nistelrooy double helped them to victory. Paul Scholes put United in front in the 34th minute but they were reduced to 10 men five minutes later when Gary Neville was sent off.
Two goals in three minutes - one from Van Nistelrooy and the other from Cristiano Ronaldo - put United well in control before Michael Tarnat pulled one back for City.
Van Nistelrooy's second came with 10 minutes left and Robbie Fowler added another consolation for Kevin Keegan's team. United went on to win the cup, beating Millwall 3-0 in the final in Cardiff.
February 18, 1996 - Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED 2-1 MANCHESTER CITY
Lee Sharpe scored United's winner in the second half to complete a comeback.
Uwe Rosler opened the scoring with a chip over Peter Schmeichel but Eric Cantona's penalty meant the match was level at half-time. The Frenchman was to be key later in the competition as he scored the only goal in a disappointing final against Liverpool at Wembley.
January 10, 1987 - Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 MANCHESTER CITY
This FA Cup third-round clash was Sir Alex Ferguson's first encounter with his local rivals and Norman Whiteside's second-half goal ensured he would end it on top. However, they were dumped out in the next round while City were relegated to the old Division Two.
January 24, 1970 - Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED 3-0 MANCHESTER CITY
One from Willie Morgan and a brace from Brian Kidd - now Roberto Mancini's right-hand man at City - booked United's place in the fifth round, where they thrashed Northampton 8-2 with George Best scoring six. Their run ended at the hands of Leeds in the semi-final.
January 29, 1955 - Maine Road
MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
City have to go back more than 56 years for their last success against United in the FA Cup. Joe Hayes and future Leeds and England manager Don Revie scored the second-half goals for the Blues, who went on to lose to Newcastle in the final before winning the competition for a third time in 1956.
March 21, 1926 - Bramall Lane
MANCHESTER CITY 3-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
Tommy Browell scored a brace for City inside the first half hour in Sheffield to book their place in the final, but Bolton claimed the glory with a solitary goal from David Jack at Wembley. It was a strange season for City, who also enjoyed a 6-1 league success against United but were relegated to Division Two.
